Suggested changes for "Managing Online Forums & Websites"

We may soon make some changes to the forum titles and layout of our Managing Online Forums & Websites category here on Forum Promotion.

If you have any suggestions or if there is anything you feel that could be improved in that section, please post here and we will consider them before we update the section.

The only thing I have to suggest is keep the managing online forums section clean. Right now there are a ton of questions in there, which are better suited for the support section. When I look int he managing online forums section I expect to see helpful topics about being a webmaster, not a bunch of questions from people who don't know how to use Google.

The only thing I have to suggest is keep the managing online forums section clean. Right now there are a ton of questions in there, which are better suited for the support section. When I look int he managing online forums section I expect to see helpful topics about being a webmaster, not a bunch of questions from people who don't know how to use Google.

I agree, because some people mix them up. I could suggest changing the "Forum & Hosting Support" to something like "Forum Ownership & Hosting" so there won't be as much as a mix-up. :great:

I'm not sure that would provide full clarification, "Forum Ownership" is quite a broad term and would cover a lot of topics. Maybe you have a suggestion to make it more specific?

I'm not sure that would provide full clarification, "Forum Ownership" is quite a broad term and would cover a lot of topics. Maybe you have a suggestion to make it more specific?

Would "Forum Admin" be more specific? I mean forum owners can be also forum admin and forum admin can also be forum owner but at times they refer to two different persons. Anyway the functions, and problems, of the two designations are different.
