Maybe try broadening your forum criteria by adding some more discussions (something forum-making-related like graphics, web design, etc). If you don't change that then it'll always look like a new forum. Your Staff Searcher, Promotion Tips, Your News forums are inside 'Website Showcase' and like I said you should broaden your criteria so take it out of there and put it in a category instead of in a subforum ๐Ÿ˜‰

what i'm saying was you need more advertising-related forums to fill up your board so it'll look more like an actual advertising forum because there's 4 advertising forums and also 4 off-topic forums and that doesn't seem proportionate in an advertising board

I still don't get the entirely what you mean. Because if your saying I need more advertising on my forum why do I when its a administrative forum? ๐Ÿ˜•

Ok what kind of discussion administrative forums should I add then? ๐Ÿ˜› Because personally I can't think of any at this very momment. I been busy at work and such and just got home.
 
That's not for me to think about. If I were you I would put Staff Searcher, Promotion Tips, Your News, and Advice Forum on another category.

Your news will stay under the Website showcase. ๐Ÿ˜› But I fixed up the promotion tips, etc. Does it seem better now?
 
I suggest adding an incentive, so people are more inclined to register and post around.
For example, an old forum i used to help run offered $10 per 1000 posts, that's nothing, but it managed to get 500,000 members in year..

So if you're sticking with phpBB, i suggest ultimate points.
