Suggestions For New Tech Site

Currently i am working on a New Tech Site, along with some other forum members mostly existence, right now we are set to launch the beta on June 6th, we want take in your suggestions now so that we can build an amazing site, we also we will review anything you want if we can get it, so leave some suggestions for that here also phpbb3 or vbulletin, thanks! 😀

Why are you making the site? I would recommend you use vBulletin, but unless you actually consider why you are doing this, I would say there's a 95% chance your forum will collapse before reaching 100,000 posts.

First off we were planning on doing reviews, contests, and forums, but we also wanted suggestions for more features to offer

Suggest IPB not vB.. Better looking generally IMO.
Their new beta package has come out, which is super sexy.

Out of those 2, PHPbb. I hate both though. I think myBB or SMF would look better for a tech site.

Although you could use IPB. That's good if you could pay.
