So, I have been without internet for quite some time, and only recently have been able to get back online. In my absence, my SWTOR forum has taken a huge hit, and is basically dead. Our niche is about an upcoming Star Wars MMO. The game has a high potential of success, and should have more than enough players to fill my forums.
My question to you, dear FP friends, is how does one go about kick-starting a virtually dead community?
You have the resources and stuff. I mean you're on vBulletin with vBSEO, so that's always good. You could do post exchanges on here and on other sites, and then it's Google/Other promotion after that.
Ah, let me also point out- we have no real means of financing major prizes for contests at this time... so, we're not going to be giving away an Alienware PC anytime soon. We're looking for ways to do this, without spending a lot of cash.
