I can't really think of anything that needs to be added. Although I didn't look at the site thoroughly, though. I did have one suggestion but I forgot what it was lol. Oh yeah, some lighter skins would be nice. Sometimes dark skins are hard on the members' eyes. I would throw in a couple of light skins so that it's easier on some members who have sensitive eye sight (or whatever you call it). Other than that it looks pretty good.
New banner definitely. Get rid of the phpBB default banner.
Change the skin (DEFINITELY).
You need something that matches your site's topic..Gaming.
I don't really think you need a Forum of the month. I see this all the time on so many boards. It's kind of annoying. Your site is about gaming, NOT forum advertising.
To tel you the truth, my forum has a single general discussion forum called "General Discussion". Usually I roll my eyes to see more than three general-related forums where each has less than 5 threads. I suggest you combine every single one of your off-topic forums into a single forum and remove Forum of the month/staff requests. Also you need to compress your current gaming forums to remove empty forums. Unless the forum is important, such as a submission forum, a forum should never be empty.
Make all inactive forums subforums of others if you don't want to remove them.
