Superhero movies

Are you getting tired of all the superhero movies? Personally, I only care about Marvel's storyline because of the way the franchise has created its cinematic universe. Other movies only care about showing superpowers and do not have a very interesting plot to care about. Do you think that filmmakers have overdone the number of superhero movies?

I like some of them better, like say the Batman (1988), the first two Superman Movies, and Superman one which had Russell Crowe in it (not as Superman, though). However, though, some of them I'm just not into, but it's more a subjective thing.

Maybe I am really getting old because superhero movies are not appetizing to me anymore. It's like I got tired of fairy tales maybe not because I don't believe in fantasy anymore but more of the over saturation. There are too many superheroes in the movie screen particularly with the war of DC and Marvel. And don't forget that we also have our local superheroes like Darna who is a supergirl. But in fairness, superheroes are much better than vampire and zombies.

I was surprised I liked Man Of Steel (2013), but the story and special effects were awesome. However, I'm so closed minded about movies that if I hadn't stumbled on it by accident - I'd probably never know.
