SurfCat Browser is a minimalistic web browser coded by Shane Elmore of SurfCat WebWare. It's marketing point is using very little RAM and CPU (without Java or Flash), while having a modern code base. Each build since version 1.1 BETA has used the WebKit rendering engine, used by such browsers as Apple Safari and Google Chrome (before version 27 of Chrome). SurfCat Browser is licensed under the LGPL 2.0 and BSD license, the same licensing WebKit uses.

The first version, 1.1 BETA RC1, comes out late 2013.

What do you think?

Currently I'm running a ten year old (upgraded) computer that has trouble with flash elements. This could be the ideal browser to use.
