Survey: Read articles on a blog or on a forum?

I'm beginning a survey on multiple forums to get some information, for a future article on my blog. My question for you is: do you prefer to read articles on a blog (or website) or on a forum (in a topic)? Vote in the poll and then leave a comment in a reply to go into detail and discuss the ins and outs.

i prefer blogs , and i don't hate reading articles on forums as well : maybe becoz blogs come up first when i google for something 🙂

I voted for blogs. Since when I go to forums I want to post, reply to people, and make new threads. In general, reading not-too-long writings and having fun. I just feel that blogs are much more serious than forums, haha~ XD

I like forums. I tend to read more when I know I'm going to reply.

As far as articles themselves go I prefer reading them on blogs. The format is more conducive to easy reading, while I frequent forums when I am looking for advice and conversation on certain topics.

That said, I think there are pros to both mediums and it really comes down to personal preference. Comments on blog posts allow for conversation while links to articles on forums allow for useful information for everyone to discuss.
