Has anyone else gotten an email from a Runescape deal called "Jagex LTD"? Over the course of the past few months I've been getting emails from them similar to this:
I have a feeling this is a scam, because when I went to click on the link to file a complaint about these emails, especially since I don't play Runescape nor do I know anything about the game, it just all looked suspicious to me. Still does. Clicked on the link, tried to log in, tried the forgot my password, and it says there's no such email/username on file. How can they punish someone who doesn't even have an account with them? I immediately reported it to Outlook as a phishing scam and I blocked their email. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Thanks.

To Player,
We have gathered convincing evidence that you have tried to trade your RuneScape account or digital goods for real-world currency.
Such real money trading has serious negative implications on the economy of RuneScape and is in violation with our policies. Any user that continues to engage in the illegal activity has no place in our community.
All of your game characters are now on our watch-list and will be constantly monitored for real money trading. Regardless of who you are or for how long you've been with us, if you continue to RWT we will be: (1) indisputably removing your account from the game in order to protect RuneScape, and (2) suing you in a court of law (Jagex Limited against you), which is an indictment based on Digital Millennium Copyright Act law violations that is at this moment imminent in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois (Civ. Action Serial SANC-V12-00364-CKJ-rGkH6sKL).
