Switching Web Hosts

Is it possible to switch web hosts?
I am using 000webhost.com and I want to switch.

Yes its possible, but you gotta know what you are doing.

Yea, real simple, but you gotta be carefull... and cant make mistakes. You gotta setup your domain to the new host, edit files and transfer and alot of stuff.

Sometimes you can talk to your hosts and they will help you which will make it go much faster

A decent host will do the transfer for you, but you need to back up everything, just in case it goes wrong, no host will give a 100% guarantee of a successful transfer.

if anyone says doing it yourself is easy then I would be careful, if you are using phpBB the MODS on the phpBB forum are very helpful and if you get stuck they will walk you through it.
