Do you tag users a lot in threads?

Do they always appear there and reply when you summon them?

How do you feel when someone ignores your post even if you tagged them in it?

I try not to tag people that often in threads. Most of the time I'll reply to their comment or quote their reply if I want to reply directly to them. Sometimes I'll tag people if multiple people asked me questions though.

I feel that if it isn't overly done, it does help with getting direct comment from someone. Though I do have my own limit on how often I prefer doing it myself, or before I feel it is done too much to myself.

I do not tag many unless I have to tag them into the thread as part of the conversation. Most of my tagging is based on them in the introduction threads that they make. Yet since Maul has been more active he has been making tag threads for each of the famous members/staff here on FP 😛

I only tag people when there is a need for them to respond to something and I would feel so bad if I am ignored.

I am only responsible for my own part. I don't tag overly but I will tag if I think a member would like a specific post. Or if I'm replying to them. They don't always reply but that is a personal preference. I feel it's nice to be included in conversations.

I only tag @The Hulk to keep his alerts busy, other than that I quote.

I see that a lot of people are misusing this feature. They tag users just to get attention, even when they do not have anything specific to say. I always avoid tagging users.

I get so many alerts sometimes I miss when people tag me, its nothing personal to them if I accidently overlook something. I am only human

I tend to only tag members on a forum if I feel they need to be tagged for example if I am replying to them or just mentioning them in a thread.

I wouldn't say I go over the top with tagging people on a forum as I feel it can get a little too much.
