Sometime back, the concept of niche MMO game forums was very popular. Now, it seems there are more generic (all encompassing) gamer forums and most related to Xbox themes.
Just wondering if it's possible to take a niche game (such as any popular MMO or MMORPG, Runescape or Minecraft, GuildWars2, WoW, LOL, etc) and create a forum now based just on that one game. Or, maybe even a sub-niche of that game such as forum based only on quest completion. This idea is old and has been done before but I haven't seen any recent forums. Maybe there is a way to brush off the idea, rework it into something for a more modern audience.
There have been so many updates in online MMO games within the past year or two that is not covered in previous forums. Is this something that would be best covered on a forum or would a blog suffice?
