You can ask me things here.
I'm apparently a programmer, I build things and as is sort of obligatory to say when I say that (lol), I know PHP, Go, C++, little bit of X86 Assembly, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, ActionScript (aka the language you make Flash games with), and Python.
My first language was C++ where I had to wrestle with the insanity that was talking to this machine and come to grasp with the mystical realm of pointers, classes, etc.
As for PHP, I've done a fair bit of that including building several forum software, one of which was akin to MyBB 2.0, but in 2013 and with my weird spin, less security than I would have liked (sadface) and some extras I liked (who doesn't love AJAX Loading, ultra quick page loads, although it was sort of immature there, the WYSIWYG editor kept breaking lol).
I've also done some C++ including building a few games, another forum software (an experiment which didn't quite pan out), etc.
Python is one which I don't do much of these days, but I particularly did a lot of a couple of years ago (maybe I'll go back into it). I've built a really simple tile game there, a Discord bot (if you want to learn programming, this is probably a great place to start) and some coursework.
Go is a great one, it's really easy to learn, if you already know another C style language (there's a legend that you can learn it in a single day), it's really fast, and the language is fairly small, so you just compose bigger blocks with smaller ones rather than discovering new bits of syntax and behaviour all the time.
I'm using that for the forum software Gosora.
My other hobbies include anime, strategy games, Factorio (so many hours in that), sometimes rhythm games, reading fantasy novels, posting on FP lol, thinking about writing little novels but never quite getting around to it or being indecisive there, space operas, and on occasion, RPGs.
