Target Audiences

FP members are my target audience. Everyone wants their site to rank well, and get traffic, ie. members, and so my site gives tips on how to do so.

If that is what your site does, then why are you only targeting FP? You could target far bigger audiences such as DigitalPoint and V7N just to name two. :S

Anyway as for me I target administrators of websites. The broader you can make a target audience, the better though.

I never said FP was the only forum I am on.

I know I already posted here, but, I reach mine by working to get back links on peoples forums by buying ad spaces. I use paid advertising. I also advertise and post on teen forums with the image link in my sig, as well as tell friends about it. And bump on every promotion forum I am on, which is about 10.

It can be stretched either way (poorly worded, but oh well), but generally, the type of members are the ones I'm attracting.

Movie fans are my target audience. I'm sure that many millions of people like to read reviews of all sorts of movies, but my target audience demand unique and new content.
