If you're like me and like to keep a squeaky clean desktop, you'll know the frustrations that can arise from having an un-organised taskbar. There can be nothing more annoying than trying to regularly flick between two open windows (for example firefox & a code editor) and them being at opposite ends of the taskbar. In the past, you'd have to close down the windows that were getting in the way, and let the associated windows meet side by side and then re-open the old windows.
Not anymore. On my travels I found a tidy program called Taskix. Quite simply, you install it, open it up, click activate and then you can drag and drop windows on your taskbar in a different order.

It looks a little tacky, and trust me it is, but it does the job and does it well.
