The above is a list of names I've seen communities use with the group of individuals who moderates a forum. I'm curious to know why you use what you do use. I'm also curious to know your thoughts on other names and why you may not know those names?

I see managers and moderators as very different roles, with managers having much more specialized roles, and moderators just enforcing rules.

Each website are all different. Depends on what the site is.

Directors, Managers and also Team Leaders gets used. Then the word moderators gets used allot on all websites as well as admin. Over the years there has been owner group

Why do you all use the names you use on forums? What are the pros and cons of each aside from aesthetic choice?
