Technically it's for kids, but...

Alright. Time for some shameless admissions. 😛
What are some shows that are really aimed at kids, but you can't help but watch?

I'm gonna start with some 'kinda for kids but not really' shows.
I love The Regular Show, and I like Adventure Time (I know, hardly a shameless admission, right there. Those shows rock like SpongeBob.)

I will say hough, a few years ago (maybe 2012?) my wife's kid sister (she'd have been 9 or 10 at the time.) was obsessed with the Nickelodeon shows iCarly and Victorious...I actually kind of enjoy them, now that my daughter is getting into it too.
Definitely won some points when I also found it it was a Dan Schneider show (like our generations Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show.)

I'm currently reading a book by one of my favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson, called Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians which is intended as a children's book. The book contains humorous commentary on fantasy books as a whole, and is a really good read.

Done that my whole life. XD

Honestly most of the shows I watch now are supposedly aimed at kids, but have some good stuff for adults too! But the shows I watch would be:

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Gravity Falls
Steven Universe

Those are the main ones I do watch.

Young adult - Children's Literature is an actual college course study all the way up to graduate school if you find it shocks you a bit. I like the Genre personally. Great reads with many messages, and a break from the stuffy books I read. I'm a Jacobean/Elizabethan reader but I am sure this is not a place to discuss the conflict of man in a Micro/Macrocosm. Join goodreads for that 🙂

I became a Steinbeck fan in high school and he is the absolute greatest on just about all of his works. I will read his works over and over again.

I have a huge E.B. White collection. I collect everything E.B. White in books and scour antique shops/co-ops for different editions.

C.S. Lewis is darn wonderful and its geared toward youngers. Love the reads.

Just a few to name as my favorites.

Read on.

I still love a lot of children books. To this day "Scrawny the Classroom Duck" by Susan Clymer is one of my favorites. And I read various others such Harry Potter, The House of Night, stuff like that.

Sure, I read adult books, but I'll always have a place for children ones!

If there's nothing good on tv then I'll turn it to some of the children's channels and watch whatever's on. I wouldn't say I regularly do. I have watched The Regular Show before and thought it was okay.

Teen Titans. Captain Planet. Tom and Jerry. Oggy and the Cockroaches. And my all-time favorite, Blue's Clues!
