Hey everyone, tech is totally changing healthcare! Think AI diagnosing diseases, wearables tracking your heart rate, or telemedicine letting you chat with a doc from your couch. Even blockchain's keeping our data safe. But it's not all smooth sailing, with privacy issues, crazy costs, and not everyone having access. What's the coolest health tech you've seen lately, and where do you think it's taking us?

Lately, I noticed more doctors are using AI devices to record patient interactions and type their notes for them, saving them countless hours from having to notate patient charts.

I haven't come across doctors using AI to take notes yet! I have an appointment Friday, so I'll see what's new in that office.

AI has its usefulness, but I still think that healthcare workers need to do their due diligence so malpractice doesn't occur.

Yes! Check for a paper they may ask you to sign. It states they use a cell phone to record the interaction that will transcribe the interaction with AI!

That's really interesting!! Maybe the nurse who does all my stats will show it to me 😀

At the hospital that I work at, I haven’t seen AI being used with doctors or any other healthcare professional. I feel like it should stay that way…

Yeah I agree technology is really changing healthcare in a big way right now. One thing I’ve noticed a lot lately is doctors using AI tools that actually listen during appointments and write the notes for them. That alone must save them loads of time because they normally spend ages typing up patient records after seeing people. It probably also helps doctors focus more on the patient instead of looking at a screen the whole time. Wearable tech is also pretty amazing now. Things like smart watches tracking heart rate sleep and even warning about irregular heart rhythms can help spot problems early before they become serious. Telemedicine is another big step forward because people can speak to a doctor from home which is great for anyone who struggles getting to appointments.

Of course there are still problems like privacy and making sure everyone has access to this technology not just people who can afford it. But overall I think healthcare is moving towards preventing illness earlier instead of treating things too late and that can only be a good thing for everyone.
