Re: Techs Diary vs ?

Sorry guys, looking for something more related to my niche.

Geeks Hut? It is in your "niche"? 🙂

I voted for Geeks Hut, they're more established and I kinda sort write for them... so yeah. Techs Diary is a good site too though!

Very hard choice...

I find that Techs Dairy has a better theme but I do enjoy all the content Geeks Hut provides.

There used to be a bug with the homepage of Geeks Hut but I am glad to see it is fixed.

Both sites have great content so I must judge based on design. I would have to go with Techs Dairy. But the huge ad in the header is a turn off. It Would look a little better if it was smaller

The cashing software does sometimes get a bit buggy, but the page gets reached every 10 minutes. I have to use the software otherwise I'm probably going to have to move to a VPS as we're expecting to get 680,000+ hits this month. The caching software has actually drastically reduced the amount of bandwidth we use!

I voted for Geeks Hut. Been reading there for a while and in my opinion it's up there in the ranks of CNET and other blogs because the writers are really good at what they do and know what they are talking about.

I looked at Techsdiary and noticed that there's not much content and posts like this: http://techsdiary.com/microsoft-finds-c ... -infected/ really annoy me, just ripping content from others blogs and half way through saying "read the full store here:" I find that really annoying and you're only driving traffic away from your blog.

Voted for GH, as the content is written in house, rather than bits and pieces from other places.

The purpose of this post is to inform our readers about what is happening in the real world via a reference from news website. It is your opinion, but i'm not ripping any content as I am just notifying my readers about what to be aware if they buy a computer in the near future. The post is from New York Times, a well reputable newspaper and by simply referring my readers to the full post I am keeping them safe. As far as content goes, we are new (opened September 02) and I am the only person pushing content out for the blog. Content doesn't necessarily mean quantity, quality is what matters most when writing blogs. You can write 5 pages of content and still not get your message across where as to you can have a few well written paragraphs and get the same message across a lot quicker. It seems as though your vote is biased to Geeks Hut, but you are entitled to your own vote. Have a good day.
