To be honest I feel hiring a tech younger than me is a whole lot better than someone older. Reason is they can learn more at school and whatnot. Would you hire a tech younger or older than you if you needed one?

People can learn at any age.

Just because a child is in school, doesnt mean he is going to be better at tech stuff than someone 10 years older.

Age makes no difference to me. My tech admin is at least a year or two younger than I, but he has a lot of knowledge when it comes to coding forums, customizing themes, even if they're only partially customized, etc. So really, Theezy summed it up right there. It's just like finding any other kind of staff position. Age doesn't matter. Experience and maturity does.

I'm 13 years old, I think I am pretty good at what I do for my age, I havnt came across someone younger then me that does what I do.

Out of curiosity, what do you do?

13years old wew....doing well in this age

Aha well its a different view for me. I wouldn't hire anyone under my age. 😛

If I ever do hire a tech admin then I would not care how old the person is, but how much he or she knows about the things I am dealing with..
