I have some pros/cons for your site here:
Pros: You have XF which will benefit for you and the site in the long run. You've got a good site layout and theme, and with a bit of tweaking, could have a great site.
Cons: There are a few main problems I see with the site. First: Who is that supposed to be in the logo? If it's supposed to be your green lantern+forum logo hybrid, then it didn't work out to well. Sorry to say, however good the idea might have been, it was not a good choice and was completely misleading to the forum's content. On the style note, the bg is dark, which is good, the main body is white, which is also good, however it's too light. It's on the point of becoming too light to be there. My only suggestion there is to have a bit better put together theme. As for the forum itself, there are a few problems. Main among them being the layout. Standard rule: General chat at bottom. This encourages more content on the main boards of your forum. Now, for the boards. You may have a bit many, but that isn't really a problem except for the fact that you have 10 posts for starting content. What I recommend is you try and post as many topics as you can around the forums and do many post exchanges. Also get backlinks on many sites; this will increase your flow of traffic heavily. Other than that, I see a topic in the 'Job Center' that should be in the announcements forum. This is an official forum announcement, and therefore should be descriptive of the position and should have an application to fill out. Also: Your forums have no descriptions. Not sure why, but for new members this can be very hard for them to find their way around the forum, especially if you come up with a clever name for the board.
