As mentioned previously, TecqLife is a website aimed for an upcoming business. I have to admit that it was not easy analyzing the website, especially because it is not completely set-up yet and because it does not have content like forums or blogs to give input to. I could only come up with two points for the quick review. Even though there are only few points I could touch, I hope my suggestions are useful for better development. Let's go!
Strength:
Theme Design
I see that TecqLife is still under construction, as it has just started. One thing the website seems to have ready is its appearance. The current theme design is well-prepared, in my opinion. The color combinations are good; the combination of red, white, black, and gray is at equal balance. Texts and images are not hard to read and view, which makes browsing easier. TecqLife has quite a nice banner/logo installed for the current theme. I see it different to the small font added for the website's favicon. I thought it is actually a font/style which represents TecqLife. Perhaps one can be decided soon to help establish an identity for TecqLife too. The navigation menu links are easy to view and quite straight forward. I would suggest including the 'Donate' button there and redirect it to a bigger page for detailed information on benefits of donation instead of small side bar widget when I clicked on a page. This may be more necessary once the website and company is completely ready to perform. The integration of sliding bar and Twitter input is nicely done and can definitely benefit the website once it has content going.
Weakness:
Layout and Content Organization
The most important point, in my opinion, is that there is no clarity on identity based on the current layout and content organization. From the name only, it was quite hard for me to decipher what 'TecqLife' means. I assume it has something to do with technology, but I was not sure what kind of technology exactly offered. Upon visiting the website, I still could not tell what it is about until I arrived on 'About Us' page. I would suggest that you put the introduction video on the main page, at least, together with the introductory text. The text could be integrated on the banner on sliding bar. The banner with slogan of the website can probably be worked on to include these content.
It appears that you also have too many navigation menu columns. Aside from the one at the top, you have one as side bar widget while on page view and one column at the footer. The content of the pages is not too long to make scrolling up troublesome. Instead, if necessary, you can replace it with a 'go-to-top' button for quick access back to top.
Final Remarks:
TecqLife seems to be a potential project, working on applications for future usage. The website is still quite new with no specific content to add yet, so there is actually not much to say. However, I believe the website is ready with the technical things. The basic functions are working well. It is now a matter of keeping the project alive and regularly adding useful content for visitors to enjoy. Good luck!
