I was talking to my daughter about my first internet experiences and how the World Wide Web wasn't available yet. Is anyone else old enough to remember telnet, gopher, usenet groups or anything else that you had to use DOS commands to get to?
My husband is IT so he knew DOS very well but I didn't take any classes in high school so learned as I went. I wrote down line by line what I needed to do to get where I wanted to go on the Internet. I feel so spoiled now to just be able to click on things. And don't get me started with dial up connection hassles LOL
