Tennessee Wildfires

There have been wildfires burning in the state of Tennessee for awhile now, but over the few days they really had a major impact. If you didn't know, the fires rolled through a popular tourist town and part of a downtown area. Hundreds of houses and businesses have been destroyed, and last I knew, 11 were dead.

Several resorts were destroyed in the fires and there was at one point great concern that the fires would destroy Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Dollywood, a huge amusement park.

All in all, its a pretty sad situation in an area where wildfires like this really aren't all that common.

I have heard about wildfires 🙁 Really dreadful things and they wipe out a lot of space as well 🙁

Been to Seiverville, I don't think it got as bad of damage but I feel so bad for those who were affected. 🙁

Gatlinburg is real pretty, hope they rebuild easy.

Wildfires. Wow. We had a few in the valley I live in, and each one destroyed thousands of acres each.

I feel sorry for those who are affected.
