Hello members of FP, im gonna show you today how to do a Text Reflection effect on Photoshop.
A very useful technique to know when making logos or banners, i personally use it a lot; it gets people's attention and makes a regular text more interesting to look at.
You will need to know your way around photoshop, finding buttons and such.
Lets start!
Start up a new project and write out or place what ever you want to reflect:
Next, your going to duplicate the layer. (CTRL + J) or (Command + J for Mac)
Then, Go to Edit>Transform> Flip Vertical. Take your flipped image and place under the original text:
Now your going to take the eraser tool and set the hardness to 0% and start to erase the edges to your discretion, after that lower the filling of the flipped image, My image's filling is set to 25%:
And there! not so hard is it? now your text is being reflected!
You guys can share this, tell a friend, repost all for educational purposes.
