Pros:
- Your activity is very good. 15,000 posts is good for less than a year. That's definitely above average. Keep it up. Make sure you keep members active, and I'm glad to see your forum doing well.
- I like your skin. The blue goes very well with the black. It's a good and simple skin. Everything is readable. Your banner is really nice as well.
- Your forum is fluid. I like that. It's not one of those goofy ones that are thin and on large monitors stay tiny. It adjusts automatically and I like that. Makes people on larger monitors happy.
- I'm glad to see you focus more on your Thanagar forum than the off-topic forums. It's annoying to see forums that are more off-topic than having to do with their actual topic.
Cons:
- Dude, do you like make everyone on your forum that's active a moderator? You are overstaffed. There is absolutely no reason for you to have 7 moderators. On your main forum that has the most posts, on the first two pages, all but 3 threads were made by moderators. That's really not good. One of your mods hasn't even been on since September.
- Having that chat and map thing at the top of every single darn forum is really annoying. Seriously, you could have that on your index or on one dedicated forum, but on every single one? That doesn't work. It makes people scroll more and it looks tacky being on every page.
- You have got to get a better domain than "http://thanagar.mybb3.org/" That's not easy to remember, and really doesn't look good. You could get a free .co.cc domain, or get a .com or .org, etc. That would look better.
- Your board descriptions could use some improvement. "Welcome to Thanagar! Introductions, faqs, and such can be found here" should be, "Welcome to Thanagar! Introductions, FAQa, and such can be found here." Also, "Watch cool videos, talk about the latest sci-fi and fantasy offering along with film and music discussion!" should be, "Watch cool videos, talk about the latest sci-fi and fantasy offering, along with film and music discussion!" Also, some of your forums don't even have descriptions.
- That "Message to Guests" forum really should go away when logged in. That's possible through permissions.
