The US celebrates its Thanksgiving this year on Thursday, November 23. Let's chat about it!

We rarely have turkey on Thanksgiving because my husband's family is Italian and they prefer homemade ravioli. I won't be making that for Thanksgiving (we'll do it for Christmas instead...it's a 3 day process) and we'll have lasagna and garlic bread instead.

What are your Thanksgiving plans?

I don't have any. We only 'celebrate' Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the UK. We don't have anything to be thankful for.

It's getting closer to the US Thanksgiving! People will be shopping and buying out all the good supplies, then they'll be traveling and after that, stuffing their faces. Maybe there's a sports game on afterward? I dunno. That's not my deal LOL

Walmart has been running Black Friday deals for a week now. Almost talked myself into buying a 50" 4K smart TV for $148.

I think this is the first year I haven't even paid attention to anything related to Black Friday. I'll be getting birthday money from my dad and I think I'll get a Google Play gift card for myself LOL

Instead of going to Starbucks and treating myself to coffee once a month, I like to splurge on "buying" something on my online games. You know, like Monopoly Go? LOL I had $7 left on a card I got 2 years ago and that helped me get some dice so I could get more of those cars built for that contest. Woo Hoo!

For the longest time, I could never bring myself to spending money on games like that. I haven't put any money towards Monopoly Go, but I have made some digital purchases here lately for credits with games I play on my PS5.

I don't really care about holidays that much anymore. I'll probably go to my partner's brother's house because I am invited and am expected to go, but if it were up to me I'd just treat it like any other day.

That sounds pretty delicious. We don't do the traditional on Christmas, so who knows what we're having that day.

My husband has Italian blood on his mom's side, and so we always make Italian food for the holidays! For Christmas my daughter will come over to help make the raviolis...it's kind of a 3 day process, so I'll start before she gets here.
