The US celebrates its Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov 28 and Canada celebrated its Thanksgiving last month.

What are you thankful for this year?

I sorta wish we did it in the UK! It looks like a lot of fun when families come together etc!

It can be fun. Thanksgiving isn't really one of my favorite holidays though. I'm not particularly fond of turkey! We have mostly made homemade ravioli in the past, but this year we're going to our daughter's house. So no ravioli.

Do you know what your daughter is making you this year?

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. We don't celebrate it in New Zealand but we have Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

We've already had ours here in Canada.

Usually take the day to chill and eat turkey since we have to work the busy weekend. #retaillife Probably going to take advantage of the Black Friday sales too since I feel like those typically start on Thanksgiving these days, and since I usually have to work the day of Black Friday, I can just order what I want online and pick it up in the store later when I'm not working.

I don't do Black Friday. My parents used to do it when we were younger. It's just to crazy.

Lamb? I just know that I'm bringing a charcuterie board in the shape of a turkey LOL

It was always crazy when we lived in the Chicago suburbs and I only did it twice. Now that we live in the country, it's no big deal. My daughter and I went once...first went to Starbucks and then to Walmart and walked around drinking our lattes. No one was there LOL I think I counted 22 cars in the parking lot?

I think Black Friday doesn’t have the same draw that it once did as the deals just aren’t as good?

I think everyone has the stuff that's discounted, and unless they absolutely need the newest upgrade, it's not worth it. Plus, most of the cheap deals are from China and are total garbage that breaks in a week.

A lot of places start Black Friday deals early too. I can't remember when exactly it started, probably around COVID, but you don't always have to wait till the day of to start shopping because you can do it earlier and not have to deal with as much craziness. Ordering online for store pick up probably helps too because people can just do it from the comfort of their home and pick it up later, so there's no need to rush to the store to pick up the items you want since you've already paid and they're on hold for you.
