Well, adding the /advertising to your title is going to throw alot of members off. Almost every forum offers some kind of advertising on their forum, but if you add the /advertising in your title, people are going to expect to see an advertising forum full of services. You may wanna take it out of your title, and maybe add it in your descriptions.
The forum's look, and banner, feels more like a gamer's forum. not really a chat/advertising forum. You've got the right intentions and ideas, just not really presenting them in the right way.
Just keep working and brainstorming, thinking of ways to make it all work together; but it's still gonna be hard to pass it off as an advertising forum.
You should get more forums that's makes the forum more intresting. If you like had one Category for Sport with the forums Football, basketball etc and a Category with Media with forums Music, Movies, Games etc.
My suggestion atleast. Also, like the style! Use the same one!
