Huh? What do you mean, you submit your link, then it goes into review for either submission or rejection, so what is unfair? You don't even have to sign up to submit your link..
 
No your not, this is why you people need to read, "Fields marked with a * are required."

It doesn't have an * next to it now does it.

thatDirectory has had a few major changes such as:

* Changed to a forum niche directory, all miscellaneous submissions submitted prior to this change have been saved.
* Improved our SEO, including adding a few extra options to enhance our submissions SEO.
* Added & deleted a few categories as we saw fit.
* Changed the template to reflect our new changes.

Plenty more in the future I hope 🙂
