Okay let me express my opinions of this forum. I hope you take no offense to this and i have not read every post in this thread so if i repeat things, oh well.
First off, your advertising techniques.
That whole bold font large size screaming(essentially) with the unnecessary exclamation points, isn't going to help any more than regular text. I recommend if you want to get it advertised better, utilize some of the other features here on FP, if you have no cash, go to the Forum Cash Exchanges section and make some.
Host,
I don't recommend freeforums.org, yes they can set things up quickly but you have very little room for customization, and they sometimes will run REALLY REALLY slow. Taking you forever to get to a post or to your admin panel. It is good to go with a free host like x10hosting or 000webhost and download the phpBB files and upload them to you host. You can find tutorials on how to do that if you do not know how. And also most themes found on freeforums.org were first made for phpBB and were changed a bit for ff. So a lot will be similar, and i know for a fact that the one you are using can be downloaded and installed.
That brings me to my last part, the theme,,,
It is a pretty good theme, and i can live with the header you have, but all the large images for each individual forum, and the super long descriptions are a bit annoying. I personally do not like scrolling really far through forums, they should be short, like FP, that is a good example. Look at most forums and you can see that they are organized,tight and compact.
In summary,
New host.
New advertising technique.
Make smaller images for your forums.
Shorten the descriptions.
