Peace had engulfed the island of Abaddon once the last human was slayed. The canines of the island slowly came together to form three packs, the Abaddon Pack, Vepar Pack, and Stolas pack. Many loners lingered through the wilderness since their families were killed during the war on humans. Almost daily more wolves, foxes, coyotes, and other canines were trespassing onto pack lands seeking acceptance in an attempt to gain safety. Although serenity had once again filled the lands there was an invisible, dark cloud hanging over the green land mass taunting the canids with a promise of future destruction.
Then it happened...they had arrived once again in search of a new home. Small wooden crafts constructed of the finest birch bark ended their course upon the shores of the island of Abaddon. Fires had nearly wiped out every proof that humans had once existed upon the island, their homes seered and now part of the earth once more. The beauty of the atmosphere grasped the hearts of those whom dared come upon the canine territory. Huts were constructed, and soon an entire clan was living once more within the rainforests.
Are these humans different? Can peace be held between the two and four legged species? Only time will tell.
