Who uses the admin zone and does it help your forum? I am a premium member there. Quite good discussions there I think.
 
I am not too happy with that place. They ban you if you a are a competitor site. Im much better off with FP. They banned me for running an Admin Forum if they would have just told me to remove my site from my signature.

Yep im on discouragement too, even tho ive been a member since 2005.

HAHA Good to know Im not the only one... they ban you in an interesting way where when you login it takes you to a fake php error page. And they think people are stupid enough to believe it.

Thats pretty cheap and low of them considering how big they are, and thats not the way to handle a business. I try to be friends with my competitors, while we have an agreement not to advertise our forums on each others forum since we are competitors..

Like me and you, we have a good understanding..
 
yeah, its pretty obvious what they have done since xenforo has the same discouragement feature lol its not like we have anything on their 500,000+ posts and constant member stream at this moment in time and we probs wont for another year or so, so why are they even needing to ban us? lol a freindly warning not to advertise on there would suffice.
 
Banning people for promoting a similar forum is (in my opinion) a sign of desperation and greed. They will do anything to get members and keep them from being aware of other similar sites. Would anyone want to be part of a site like that? I think they are actually doing themselves far more harm then good through the damage they are doing to their reputation.

I was pretty shocked when they did as how huge the forum is, and my site is nothing compared to it.. they dont even give you a notice or nothing, they give you a straight permanent ban. Im sure more people would speak out against it, but they probably dont know they got banned as TAZ makes it look like a server error. It takes you too this page when you try to login: http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/mainpagewelcome.php Its very cheap and low of them.

No Problem, they ban you on the spot.. if they see you run an admin forum.
 
I'm not purposely bashing them here this is just my story on it..

I joined up one day, I posted a topic asking for someone to make me a quick logo. This guy says "Hey I will do it, just PM me!" I said alright, so I sent him a PM saying what's up and how I wanted the logo. Then I get an email from TAZ saying I've been banned for 'abusing' the PM system. Apparently I broke some rule by negotiating a deal with someone else. Obviously when I try to give my side by email they wouldn't listen.. arrogant idiots. I didn't have any need for the site anyway (Except that logo) so I didn't care too much.
 
It looks like the rabbit hole is getting deeper 😛

We are on topic, you feel taz is good, but we feel different. Just becasue we have a bad experience with it dosen't mean we are not on topic.
