You most likely wont as you are just discussing it and you dont own it. I was banned for running an Admin Forum - A Direct competitor.profx said:i think i'll do it now, see if i get banned (if i do, its ridiculous)

Nope. I'm referring to other stuff. One of the admins bumped a five-year-old topic to voice an opinion (which was basically to try forum software for yourself), as a more specific example.
I would like to ask that you do not do this. While we all may not agree with the way they run their site, we don't want our reputation and our forums name being used in any act to deliberately get a negative reaction from any community.profx said:i wonder what they think of FP, maybe i'll make a topic asking. (or will i get banned for that ? lol)
Pretty sad right? They ban just about every forum owner that has a similar site in their niche whether its big or new. Like seriously, what competition would my forum, shady's and yours have with TAZ? Its a huge forum. I wish people would see this thread.MrJohn said:Wow my admin forum with 700 posts just got me banned from TAZ. Amazing....

I hate it for that reason too. Also if your new members always pick arguments with anything you say...Kaiser. said:I am not too happy with that place. They ban you if you a are a competitor site. Im much better off with FP.

ShadyX said:Well taz isn't what it used to be back in the days and i think they are just trying to contain all their current members within their forum and trying to stop any traffic from leaking out into similar sites, yeah they are doing it in a way that people find unreasonable but i don't understand why people are seeing this thread and deliberately going to taz and trying it for themselves.
Im never going to go to that forum again, i have tried to contact them regarding the ban but they just blatantly ignore me so that's fine with me it's just one less member to post on their forums.

My anyways, I have my forum in the signature over @ TAZ and they haven't banned me yet BUT they did delete some of my useful posts for novreasob and without a warning.
