The AFL grand final.... WAS A DRAW!

Yes, it was a draw

Now we have to wait another week for them to replay the match, really it has taken the excitement away from it having to play a 2nd game because the first was a draw. It was the first draw in 33 years, and only the 3rd in history.

Seriously, I don't understand why AFL doesn't have something like Golden Point in NRL, or an extended quarter. It's like they want to waste/make money. If they had an extended time to play on and get a winner, then that would genuinely be a "grand final". Technically, there could be a hundred "grand finals" for 2010, if they always draw, so clearly there is a fault in the game, especially on the most important game of the year.

Just shows why NRL is better 🙂
