Good domain, and good banner idea. Just remember to fix the banner for its proper size and you should be fine. Also consider changing the user icons (IPB isn't too friendly in this).
Other things:
- You should enable the friendly URLs (the proper one that removes the index.php?/ stuff). You can easily find it using live search.
- Consider Facebook Connect, Twitter Connect, etc. Those let people login with those accounts, giving easier registration and convenience on them.
Other than that, your forum is nice. You should do fine and stuff.

Well, here is my review. I have made it a priority to help other forum admins with feedback. I love the domain name and the idea behind the forum. It is a forum that is original in a time period where original forums are hard to find.
-The logo looks a bit bland, just like others have mentioned. You can get a professional quality logo done at digital point in the contests section for 6-10$. Might just be worth it in the long run. Or you can get one done here obviously with your stack of cash. lol.
-The style does look boring as well. It's not that I don't like the style, it just looks like every other IPB style out there. All the styles I have seen people use look like the default. Here is a good site that I would use if I had an IPB forum: http://www.ipbforumskins.com/premade_ipb3.php They have several good looking premade skins that they sell for around 25$. They also create custom skins as well.
-Too many forums to start out with. I would try and dwindle it down to about half of what you have right now. At least. This can be done by making some forums into subforums, etc.
I think your forum has a lot of potential and the possibilities are endless. Hopefully I provided you with some good feedback.

I agree that you should cut it down until you need to expand. I think you should also either fill that blank space on the right or remove the one widget you have there. Being off-centered without cause seems to bug me for some reason.
