The water is finally receeding and people are slowly being allowed back into homes. You should see the news here. Over 20000 people have voulenteered to help clear it up. Over 12 million dollars was raised at a Telethon on Sunday.

Over 7000 people not in homes, and Evac. centers. Power off and will before a long time.

They're in Queensland, North Eastern NSW, and now Victoria. There are stories of the News Helicopters taking people to see their families.

There is a massive tennis event on Sunday. "Rally for Relief" at Melbourne Park. Tickets went on sale 3PM yesterday, by 10PM 15 000 tickets has been sold, with 300 000 raised. Sold out by 10AM this morning.

It's awful. I feel sorry for all the people that had to leave or had their home destroyed.

There was a story on the news tonight. Dozens of people had gone to one local business, and spend the whole day cleaning beer bottles for the shop owner.

That was nice of them. You all need to pull together in a situation like this.

Finally... something worse than our 2000 or how ever many earthquakes we had, and are still having.

There has been almost 24/7 updates if not full coverage for the last week now of this terrible disaster. Luckily I live in Sydney so floods aren't expected.
