I pick Acer because I own a Acer C720 Chromebook, and it has been working great since I got it as a Christmas present 2013. It also never overheats, the battery last for many hours, and it is fast when I use it for watching video, listening to music, web browsing, video chat on Google Hangouts, and other tasks.

Sony Vaio. So far, my longest-lasting laptop has been a Vaio, so...yeah.

I'd go for Toshiba. They tend to have impressive specs, and they have nice styles. I think they're widely popular, too.

I heard the Apple Macbook Air, and Macbook Pro are also pretty good. I know a few people with Macbooks, and they seem pretty durable.

Toshiba. I've had my current laptop for several years and love it.

I do not recommend Acer. My first ever laptop was an Acer, and the piece of crap had the vents on the bottom of the laptop, so it always overheated unless I propped the laptop up high on something.

My Acer also has vents on the bottom and a vent on the side of it, but I do not need to propped it up high. But, my Acer laptop uses an Intel Celeron Haswell CPU, and uses a Solid State Drive, so it does not get very hot.

I also recommend HP. My old HP DV2000 with Windows Vista still works after 5 years from 2009 till now.

I have always loved the brand Toshiba I was using a Toshiba Qosmio X70 the other week I want one so badly the only thing I could complain about is the red color.

I personally believe Dell laptops are top knotch as I've not had any trouble out of mine.

My current laptop is an Acer, and this is pretty much the only thing wrong with it. My Vaio had the vent on the left-hand side of the laptop, whereas this one's vent is on the bottom right. I can use it without it overheating, but I have to be mindful of when the fan spins up so I have to pick it up and hold it in the air for ~30 seconds.

My experience with ASUS laptops has been extremely good. They've got a lot of power and definitely keep stable. I've been using an ASUS laptop for over 3 years and it still performs as it did when I first purchased it. Of course, maintenance was mandatory, but compared to my other 3 year old machines (including a Toshiba, also maintained) the ASUS held up much better.

Has to be Acer. There laptops are quick. Bigger memory and quicker than the Dell ones to be honest

Til their warranty expires....

Then it will break.

We stopped using dell in our offices because of that

I think Razer's Blade is the best laptop. The Blade has specs better than many regular non-gaming desktop computers, and it can play many of the newest games on high to ultra video quality settings. It's also one of the thinnest gaming laptops as well.

I truly believe Dell laptops are great as I've not had any trouble out of mine.

I am using acer aspire v5-561 pg 6686.It is very promising laptop I ever used.It is more durable as far as I consider than sony, dell and samsung. For laptops, I would rate Acer as number one.
