So as some of you know I own an entertainment blog and I want to start putting up some reviews.
What's the best way to write them? I'm not that great at putting things into words to the point the blog review is interesting. I even fail at times to meet the 300 word (or whatever it is) minimum on IMDB.
I would ensure the review title goes beyond the film title e.g. 'Frankenstein - a reanimated classic as a monstrously beautiful melodrama'. Give it a rating out of 5 stars followed by a still from the movie.
The review itself should detail how well the story is told by direction and by the actors, all of whom should be mentioned by name. You should try to give a sense of the story without giving everything away.
You should try to balance description with opinion and always include the official trailer.
