The Big Bang is a cosmological model of the initial conditions and subsequent development of the universe. It is supported by the most comprehensive and accurate explanations from current scientific evidence and observation. As used by cosmologists, the term Big Bang generally refers to the idea that the universe has expanded from a primordial hot and dense initial condition at some finite time in the past, and continues to expand to this day.

In other words Big Bang theory states that the whole universe was once compressed into a small point which exploded giving rise to the millions of galaxies and stars that we know today.

This theory is surrounded by flaws and inaccuracies.

First of all, let me start off with my doubts.

If the universe was indeed compressed into a point, how did it get that way? There are various theories for this, one suggesting an oscillating universe which expands and contracts continuously, each more ludicrous than the last.

Secondly, what surrounded that tiny point into which all matter was compressed? Was it just empty space?

Lastly, what caused it to explode? Was there some violent distortion? Or was it something else?[

It's no more ridiculous than the notion of a divine being. Besides, you've got some facts wrong/misunderstood. Go watch some of Michio Kaku's videos on the Big Bang.

There are actually Billions+ of galaxies, and Trillions+ of stars in the known univese.

Tell me about, most all "scientific" theories, are theories based on non-observable phenomenon, hence, making the theory a metaphysical hypothesis, most notably referred to as, a religion.

All valid questions, which will probably never be answered by our civilization, we are only good at questioning. Problem solving and answering is better left to a higher civilization.

We're on the same page! :great:

Does anyone care for the watch analogy?

You are walking through a desert and you find a watch sitting on the ground. It is very complex and has been designed to move precisely and tell the time very accurately. Now do you think it's possible lightning struck the ground and the watch just happened? No! It is only logical that the watch had a designer. This world is so amazingly complex and well balanced that the notion that it came about randomly is ludicrous.

Also, maybe we should have some respect for other people's beliefs? Throwing pictures with the general theme of "lol Christianity" is a nice way to offend a decent portion of the world population. Just because you have doubts doesn't mean you need to ridicule something.

The next person to post nothing but an image in this debate is getting an official board warning.

My position is that none of us have solid proof of where our world originated, and we probably will never have any solid proof.

Yea you're right, no one will ever know, you can't change people's beliefs if they don't want to, this is an endless debate.

Yes, it's logic, I agree with you on that.

yes but god did not create it, we are all freaks of nature and we are the only living things.
