The big project is having its Soft Opening - Focus Group needed

You have probably heard that @Malghetti and I have resigned and have created our own special project. We've been working hard for 4 weeks now!

The Soft Opening starts today and we're inviting people to come take a look if they would like to be a part of our Focus Group.

IF you're interested or just a wee bit curious, send me a PM and I'll give you the link to the site and to the survey.

Here's what I'm asking from the Focus Group:

• Register on the site
• Make an Intro thread
• Look around and see what we have to offer
• Then take a brief survey so we can see your feedback

In return we might give you a little surprise in return for your time.

Thank you all for the strong support 🙂 It's been a really busy 4 weeks of creating this new site and there is still more work to be done.

Thank you! We really had a lot of fun starting this up. It began with Facebook chatting and then moved to a Google Jamboard, which reminds me that I should check and see that we added everything from there onto the site.

We'll be slowly adding new things I have reserved because you never show your full hand right away 😀

Yesterday was a roaring success for us and an unexpected surprise. What it reveals is that there is still a strong devotion to forums by the members here!!

As for the over 700 friends I have on Facebook, only one inquired about my post asking for help in doing the survey. Out of all the times I did surveys for them and voted for their kids...I'm done doing that now for them all.

My best friend from high school joined the new site and it was her first time ever posting on a forum. She was so nervous, but was made welcomed and I'm glad for that. I'm trying to convince her to become a writer for me.

We're continuing the soft opening for the week and I'm still looking for someone to do the surveys. PM me, okay?

I've got almost 5000 friends most I don't know though personally but whenever they post up something that they want done even if it's a fundraiser I always take part and I post up a status about joining Media Planet and no one joins. I find on Facebook people are quite happy to ask people to do something but they won't help others.

I'm sorry about your facebook friends, it's awful that people can be that cold. I'm glad your friend from high school joined, though, opening her up to the world of forums could give her a whole new hobby to participate in! Fingers crossed she enjoys it 🙂
