I'm into making drum lessons and a large site involving them is Drumeo. Well, Drumeo has everything you could want - the step-by-step videos, well qualified teachers etc..
However, it still comes across as fake - and that seems to be true with any Wal-Mart type service. Well, it's worse for something like Drumeo - cause there are no local outlets. I mean, even Wal-Mart has locals working for them.
So do you feel anti-commercialization is an important force in marketing? I think it is - and that's why there's still a strong market for local restaurants, local music teachers, single-teacher websites, small colleges and the like.
