The Community Team is hiring 1 CTM.

What is the Community Team and their responsibilities?

The Community Team is responsible for moderation and community engagement here on FP. Some of the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Community Team include:
  • Playing an active role throughout the community through daily posting and topic creation (as a regular member would)
  • Moderating all boards and their topics of Forum Promotion, enforcing the rules of FP, calmly handling all reports and disputes between members
  • Keeping FP organized and running smoothly, manages certain sections of the board, including Employment Zone, Exchange Central, Marketplace, and Directory.
  • Helping the team build and publish the Monthly News Bulletin.
  • Running the Community of the Month contest.
  • Helps the team with any events/contests happening around the community.
  • Welcomes and assists all new members.
  • A crucial part of the Community Team Member role is to actively engage with the FP community and participate across all areas of the forum (this is a non negotiable of the role)
Requirements to apply:
  • Be active! Being an active member of the staff team is vital to the community team's success.
  • The time available to create new content and post around the forum - you should have the time to commit to posting daily. We understand life can get in the way - however, if your life is busy right now or you know you won't have time for this position in the near future, please reconsider applying.
  • Be fun! That sounds like a really strange requirement, right? Being apart of the CT means you have to have a fun and outgoing personality, a personality that people love and can trust. You should have an uplifting and fun attitude whilst having the ability to handle serious situations as maturely as possible.
  • An interest to share/create new ideas, competitions and events and see them through.
  • You must be able to keep a cool head, even when members are pushing your buttons.
  • Your FP account must be in good-standing within the last 12 months. That means no recent warnings or restrictions (informal reminders do not count)
  • Xenforo experience - able to demonstrate proficiency with XF Moderation Tools, or share links to communities previously moderated.
  • Some experience on Forum Promotion already, including 75 posts in the last 30 days, and have been a member for at least one month.
  • Please note this a volunteer position and as such there is no payment for this position.
