It's hype was increased because of the death of Heath Ledger and it being his last movie, it happens with all the stars who die and then their last film is released.

I didn't think it was amazing mainly because most people just went to watch it or the hype was built because of the death.

I loved this movie. The joker kept making that licking noise, OMG! It gets to you after a while. Me and my friends did it the whole day almost after we watched it and started to talk like him ~cheesey_grin~

I love the movie and I can't wait to get a copy of it in December with its Blu-Ray and DVD release. The Joker stole the show if you ask me. I love that character in the film. I wish Ledger didn't die though. Now the Joker might change in a following film. ~cry~
