The Dark Tower (movie)

The movie that is suppose to be based on the Dark Tower series written by Stephen King...it was released in theaters last Friday. Has anyone watched this movie yet? Do you plan on seeing the movie at some point? Have you read the series that the movie is based on?

I haven't seen it yet, nor have I read the series of novels it was based upon, though I am really looking forward to seeing it before too long.

I'm interested in seeing the movie, however, I'm in the process of reading the books. I'm torn about whether I should go see the movie now or wait to see the movie later on dvd after I've read all the novels.

Never heard of the book or the movie. I will check it out in IMDB for the trailer and the story first.

I never read the book. But I watched the movie and it was okay. But it also wasn't anything to write home about to be honest. They never explained in the movie why the Gunslinger had every strain of hepatitis.
