The Draft is over and it was a really awesome draft to be honest!

I really liked the picks my NFL team chose (Bengals)

We chose a shut down cornerback (Darqueze Dennard), a really nice running back (Jeremy Hill), a not bad quarterback (AJ Mccarron).

I liked the Eagles' picks as well.

We got an above average linebacker (which was a team need) in Marcus Smith, an instant starter in wide receiver Jordan Matthews, and an athletic, big corner in Jaylen Watkins.

Yeah It's pretty cool Jaylen Watkins is Sammy Watkins older brother. I liked the pickup of Jordan Matthews he will be a replacement for Desean Jackson, but probably not as good though.

Yeah, we'll have to see. I think Jordan Matthews is pretty darn good though, and I think his 5 inch height advantage over Jackson makes up for the very slight speed gap. If Nick Foles utilizes him well on the outside, he should make plenty of plays in the Eagles' #2 ranked offense.

However, I've heard reports saying that Matthews will line up in the slot, meaning he'll replace Jason Avant, not D-Jax.

Oh then never mind 😛

Wow we have a Bengals and Eagles fan on my site to lol.

For the Bengals: You're going to love Dennard. I live in B1G country so I got to see him play a lot. The guy is a great physical corner that makes plays in the run game as well as the passing game.

As for the Eagles, I loved the Jordan Matthews pick. If we didn't draft Ebron I was hopeing we could pick him up in round two, but I'll take Van Noy either way 🙂

I agree. Matthews looks like a younger, faster (I'll take 4.46 any day) version of our old slot receiver Jason Avant. If he at least has average hands, he'll be an improvement. Throw in Darren Sproles and the return of Jeremy Maclin, and I like the Eagles as a Top 5 scoring and yards offense in 2014.

Dennard should end up being a solid starter if he can stay healthy. The Bengals are a Top 2 or 3 team in the AFC imo.
