The Editorial Team is Accepting Applications!


The Editorial Team is always accepting applications. There are two different positions which applicants can choose from. Reviewers are responsible for writing reviews of websites which post requests within the Review Headquarters forum. Editors are responsible for maintaining the Forum Promotion blog by editing submissions and writing articles.



The Editorial Team's purpose is educate members of Forum Promotion through critique and informative articles. We help members to improve their websites, which allows them to improve as webmasters, and create successful forums and websites. There are two ways in which we help members of Forum Promotion. The way is through reviews, which give specific suggestions to specific requestors. The second way is through articles, which allow a member to learn how to make a better and more successful website.

If you enjoy leaving feedback and helping people out, Reviewer is the right job for you. If you enjoy writing and educating, then Editor is the right job for you.

Becoming an Editor on the Editorial Team

Responsibilities:

  • Approving articles submitted to the Forum Promotion Blog.
  • Editing any submitted articles for spelling, grammar, and general aesthetic improvement.
  • Ensuring that articles adhere to our quality standard and aren't plagiarized from another source.
  • Writing webmaster-related articles for the Forum Promotion Blog.
  • Write or develop future articles on a weekly basis.
  • Actively being involved with the community.

Requirements:

  • Have a thorough grasp of the English language and vocabulary, as you will be editing submitted articles to ensure they maintain proper spelling and grammar.
  • Must be in good standing (ie. no official warnings or temp. bans).
  • Must have at least 75 posts.
  • Must have been a member at Forum Promotion for at least 1 month.
  • Be required to write a sample article if requested.

Becoming a Reviewer on the Editorial Team

Responsibilities:

  • Critiquing other websites based on a standard rubric and personal opinion.
  • Writing your critiques in a professional and legible manner.
  • Actively being involved with the community.

Requirements:

  • Be able to effectively convey your thoughts through writing.
  • Must be in good standing (ie. no official warnings or temp. bans).
  • Must have at least 75 posts.
  • Must have been a member at Forum Promotion for at least 1 month.
  • Be required to write a sample review if requested.
