Categories & Forums
The amount of Categories and Forums you have is one of the biggest issues with your forum. The Fandom is supposed to be an Entertainment Community. From what I'm seeing, you were were not thinking when you were creating the categories and forums. You don't even have half the amount of categories a new forum would have, I've seen forums with off-topic areas with more entertainment related forums that what your forum has. People don't want all of their posts cluttered into three forums where they have to crawl through posts in order to find something that is to their taste, they like the forum to be organized and to have categories and forums related to the genre of the forum. On top of this, you have nowhere for new members to come and introduce themselves - it does not look like a welcoming place at all and your forum names aren't even creative in any way, shape, or form. All three of your "On Topic" forums begin with "The" and end with "Discussion". Take some inspiration from other forums, but don't plagiarize and ensure to add your own twist.
Statistics & Activity
For a forum that has been open for roughly 7 months, 503 posts is not the best. You don't even seem to have made an effort to create content in order to attract new members, your average posts per day according to the forum is 0.1 and you only have 172 posts over the course of 7 months. There are forum owners that have at least 300 posts within at least a week of their forum being open. A forum that does not have an actively posting Administrator is a forum that will not be appealing to outsiders at all. Also, I have noticed that you have 503 posts in total but only 58 posts are on display when you're viewing the forum as a guest. I'm not sure if those posts are hidden in forums that become accessible after registration, but 58 posts in no-where near enough public content to attract anyone. You should really start to post some content if you even want a remote chance of attracting members.
The Appearance
The appearance of your theme is horrific, to me, the theme choice is terrible. There are so many themes that look a lot better that are available to you on ZetaBoards free of charge, the theme should be a theme more suited for people that like TV and Movies as well as other forms of entertainment such as games. As far as I can see, you don't even offer a lighter theme for members that may want one. As for your logo, you seem to have chose the worst one possible. There is nothing creative about it, it's just a bit of boring text that is shoved so far into the corner it looks as if you're ashamed to show it. A better dark theme and a light theme option definitely needs to be added along with a new logo. Get this done and you'll probably have a better chance of getting members to register.
Final Remarks:
I didn't include any Strong points to seem negative in any way, it's just that I thought you would prefer to have the negative points flagged up to show you what's bad about your forum and hopefully, by sorting it all out you'll be able to attract new members. It was my first skin ever, so I guess I got a little too excited to show it off. You're right, I may need a better skin. Also a light skin at that!
As for the amount of posts i have as an admin in 7 months.. Well, I have a hard time posting a lot considering I'm the only active one there. i don't want 1,000 posts of just, "Fathis Crowe.." lol So maybe a bit of advice on what to do there. Also the categories, thanks for the blunt distaste of it all. I'm usually good at forum layouts.. I was trying to condense too much I guess.. They say small forums should start off with less forums, so that's what I was trying to do. I will reorganize right away!
All-in-all, I need a new skin, new layout, new logo, and more content! Thanks for everything Atrox. This has been enlightening. I'll pm you when I'm done so you can either approve or tell me the worst again haha! It means a lot.
