Every Admin has something unique to them that they enjoy doing on the forum. For some it may be Hosting a competition, for others it may be banning banners, for others it could be offering help or advice.

For me, even though I'm (currently) only Temp I'd say the favourite part of Administering Forum Promotion is updating the services, spending my time knowing I'm helping others in promoting their site and helping them get exposure. Additionally, I enjoy offering tech support, listening to feedback and working with the other team leaders to provide a quality service.

What's the favourite part of running your board? ~smile~

I really enjoy meeting new people who like the same things as me or just want to have a chat about something that may not even be related to the forum. I love having a feel of power though. But i want it to be about the user. Not me. Thats how i think all forums do and should work. So i like being able to supply a service to people and make a difference. Basically i like doing my part in a community.

Power! Unlimited POWerrrrrrrrrr! 😀

nah, really, my favorite thing, is just trying to come up with unique and different ideas, and get really good feedback from staff and members on these ideas.

Plus, i really do enjoy uploading Brawl macthes. Any member can send me their replays through their wii console, and i upload them to youtube , and edit/add personal intros to each match.

They really get a kick out of showing their matches to frieds, and the most recent match i upload, gets showcased on the forum's main page.

No other Brawl forum, let alone the admin of those forums,. would take the time do that.

I like the feeling I get that I have made a lot of people happy and made a place that lots of people visit every day.

I like to just see people enjoy them selves on a site that I have made. It is cool to wake up, log on, and see what the people have done. It is also fun to see different people that would not talk in real life all talking together like good friends!

Supporting one of my favorite bands, and learniing about the history of the band. One of the few ways you can support a band these days. Most other means are actually supporting the record company. I had the oppurtunity to interview the former bassist and a vocalist who was with the band before it has its current name. Not only that, but I've dug up old stuff about the band that almost nobody else knows of.

Mine would be... learning in general actually. I want to make this stuff be my long term job, so every bit of anything I can learn along the way is good. If I pick up even one thing per day, that's 365 things I didn't know the year before.

I learn best by doing, not by reading a book or studying. Being an Admin gives me hands on experience which has really helped. If I can't figure something out, I just ask Manaic or someone from FP and they can usually answer my question (Thanks to Murder and spyka who have answered most of them).

At the end of the day, as long as i've learned something new i'm happy, even if i've destroyed something in the process (sometimes that just makes it better ~lol~ )

I think it's the support and friendship amongst my members, it's good to see in today's world, I also enjoy using the admin panel and adding things to the forum to make it look attractive

Handing out custom member labels! Especially the obscure ones...

"Mist upon the meadows..."
"The Resident Ass"
"Advocate For Troubled Yutes"
"Signs of the times..."
"Fade To White"
"O! Nevermore!"
"with relish, mustard, and onions"

Love having a large community basically running it's own paths with myself and my team engaging in discussions with insightful people.

The power doesnt matter to me. I'd say the greatest part is knowing that you've created something that people want to be apart of.

-D- For me its knowing that your helping people learn things, while learning yourself

Knowing that people are spending there free time being a part of your community. Not because they have to(unless it's a package lol) but because they want to.
