So, the article linked to, Bryan Fischer Writes about the Medal of Honor, and why there hasn't been many given out since the beginning of the Iraq/Afghanistan War.

I agree on some of his points in the article, but there are a couple of things he added to it, that wouldn't be so blunt if he didn't put it in the way he puts it.

So, what are your opinions on the article he wrote?

Lol "the feminization of the medal of honor"

The article does have a good point, I can see where he is going. The argument has been going on for a while that the medal is not awarded too often and it has to go through an extreme bureatcratic process (soldier's CO throughout the ranks all the way up to the secretary of the army, then the secretary of defense, then the president) but again, one can also argue that since it's such an honorific medal, it should be extremely hard to get and you should have to do a lot to get it. I don't honestly recall a lot of cases from my studies of it where people have just gotten it for "racking up a lot of kills". This isn't a video game, it's real life. I hate to tell the guy writing the article that. I have a friend whose relative got it during the civil war because something happened where the confederates took down the union flag and he picked it up and used it to impale a confederate soldier and then he raised the flag back up. I forget his name but the story is on the army medal of honor site somewhere.
